Semi Auto Handgun Malfunction Clearance Skills
(CO-ED, 5 hours) - $150
A dynamic, fast-paced, action-filled course focusing on quickly clearing type I, type II, type III malfunctions and building speed in clearance skills. If you carry a semi automatic handgun, knowing how to clear various malfunctions is likely the most important aspects of keeping you gun running during a critical incident defensive shooting.

This class focuses on methods, techniques, and options for clearing any type of handgun malfunction of "feedway stoppage". Designed for the shooter with minimal training in defensive carry. You must have taken our Beginning Handgun class or its equivalent, and be able to demonstrate solid handgun safety fundamentals. Open to men and women 14 and older. No concealed handgun license is required for this course. This course, along with Defense Carry Fundamentals course, are both ethical requirements for the sport or defensive carry student. Either course can be taken before or after the other. Malfunction Clearance Skills course will take the sport/competitive shooter or defensive shooter's skill to the next safe level. Combining speed and precision technique, this 5-hour, all-range-time, live-fire course will promote muscle memory and competency by repetition.

Certificates of course completion will be awarded. Completion certificates satisfy ORS 166.291 for Oregon Concealed Carry.

At Stoneridge Tactical, we provide you with case study to describe the issues, then move into the concepts behind it all. As a last step, we describe to you the tactic or the technique you will be using as a means to win in a Critical Incident and to neutralize a Lethal Threat, should you ever be confronted by one.
