WOMEN'S "INDOOR" BEGINNING HANDGUN 101 - $150

OREGON'S ONLY LOW-ENERGY, LOW-RECOIL TRAINING COURSE
Handguns And All Ammunition Provided!

For our "Half-Day" course, we'll generally start at 9:00 AM and we'll go until about 2:00 PM.  The course is fun, active, interactive, and informal.  You'll love it!

Stay WARM during winter months and cool during the summer while practicing!  Exactly the same as our Signature Women's Beginning Handgun class except indoors, and without the heavy recoil that occurs with lethal, ballistic ammunition!  Special firearms provide with the ammunition, for students who want the best handguns, are law enforcement certified, low-recoil, "non-lethal" firearms and ammo suitable for indoor use only by licensed Simunition trainers.  Stoneridge Tactical has received authorization from local law enforcement to offer this course indoors inside city limits, and is the only school in Oregon licensed to used Simunition low-recoil, non-lethal ammunition.  This is definitely a class you want to be part of.

Except for the non-lethal, live-fire handguns  and special ammunition provided to all students as part of the course, this course is identical to the Women's Beginning Handgun class listed below.  Because these firearms use a specialized, high-tech, low-energy, low-recoil ammunition and corresponding specialized firearms, the cost is somewhat higher than the other Women's Beginning Handgun course.  This course is absolutely perfect for students that have a higher-anxiety level when dealing with handguns.  You'll feel right at home and comfortable with our stock of non-lethal firearms and ammunition.  No sore hands, overwhelming shock, muzzle flash, or tremendous noise like ballistic firearms have.  In fact, no hearing protection is required!

Starting from the ground floor - Specifically for women students with limited to no handgun experience.  We take you from box to backstop with semi-automatic handguns.  Starting with terminology, semantics, field-stripping your handgun, cleaning, operation, ammunition, malfunction types, basic discussion and implementation of operating your handgun, plus learning to field strip your firearm then putting it back together.  Students will make their way to the indoor range using basic stances for shooting.  The goal is safety, confidence, and competency.  Satisfies ORS 166.291 for Oregon Concealed Handgun licensing.  Students with their own handguns are encouraged to bring their handgun with them to class (without lethal ammo)!

Once students learn how to field-strip real, lethal firearms, they will then transition into the safe use of non-lethal firearms provided by Stoneridge Tactical for the remainder of the course.  These firearms fire non-lethal ammunition at very high muzzle velocities thereby providing the ultimate in high-accuracy, target-punching results that will clearly display your targeting ability, just like at an outdoor range with your ballistic, lethal firearm!  This is a fantastic opportunity for students to experience everything they would at an outdoor range but without the risk of injury inherent with lethal firearms!

Each student will be awarded a certificate of course completion that satisfies ORS 166.291(1)(f)(c) for Oregon Concealed Handgun certification.  A $75.00 nonrefundable deposit is required for this class.
